History

In 2002 Bruce Bissell had an idea to raise money for the Fabulous Fenwick Lions Club & charities, Raffle off a Harley Davidson motorcycle.  It was decided to do something to give back to the people who supported the raffle so Biketoberfest® was organized for the same day as the draw.  It included vendors, a show -n- shine, food & beverages, & entertainment. The first event was on the first weekend in October and it snowed but 500-1000 people come out on their bikes.

Future events saw Biketoberfest® grow, better weather, now held in September, more events & vendors and a 2nd day for the Ride of the Flags to start the event.  In 2005 the name was registered & trademarked so the name & products would remain as a charity event across Canada and not become commercialized.

Over the past years Biketoberfest® has raised over $150,000 for charities.  This great event is held in the little town of Fenwick, Ontario, Canada, at Centennial Park, just 12 miles from Niagara Falls, Canada...  We hope to see you at our next event, admission is by donation.
